One of my friends once said "You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become an ad platform." It's sadly hilarious that every new human innovation is eventually co-opted by those who are willing to be cutthroat, innovative, devious, and don't care about ethics. Until people get sick of it, tear that down, and create something new.
